I bought the DRINKS version for a little bar cart we have in the dining room.
I originally thought I might hang it on the wall above the cart, but after trying it both ways I actually preferred leaving it sitting on the top shelf.
It gives off enough light to stand out in the evening without lighting up the whole room. I went with warm white because most of the other lighting in that area is warm too.
The USB cable is long enough that I could run it behind the cart and keep most of the wiring out of sight.
It’s definitely more of a decorative light than something you’d use for actual room lighting, but that was exactly what I wanted for this corner.

The current Desk Light Box is designed to work as either a freestanding decorative light or a wall-mounted sign.
Which setup works best mainly depends on the space around it and where you want to hide the USB cable.

Warm white or pink — which color works better for a desk or home bar?
I’m looking at the BE KIND version for a shelf in my home office and I can’t decide between warm white and pink.
Most of the room is pretty neutral, so the warm white would probably fit in more easily, but the pink version seems like it would make the sign stand out more.
Is there any difference besides the color of the glow?

The main difference is the visual style.
Warm White gives the light box a softer, more neutral appearance and usually blends more easily with warm home lighting, wood furniture and bar décor.
Pink creates a more noticeable decorative accent and works well when you want the sign itself to become part of the room’s color scheme.
The current light box uses the same 11.8 × 5.9 inch rectangular format and DC 5V USB power system in either glow color.
Current display options are DRINKS, CHEERS and BE KIND, so I’d choose the combination based mainly on the room and the mood you want rather than expecting a functional difference between the two colors.
